By the time you are reading this issue of Perspectives, it will be mid-summer. Soon LaVae Hoffman and I will be taking off to meet with Division 1 affiliates attending ASHA Schools 2008 in Orlando. I look forward to the opportunity to hear directly from affiliates in attendance. Look for our table, with the Division 1 purple and silver stickers, pencils, and, of course, for those low-blood-sugar moments that strike during a long day of continuing education, chocolate. Division 1 continues to sponsor the Schools Conference so that our affiliates are guaranteed the lowest possible rate. This year we are proud to sponsor Barb Ehren’s talk, titled “RTI: Magic or Cruel Trick.” Barb is a former Div. 1 Steering Committee (SC) member and Associate Coordinator, and her topic is of high interest to our affiliates. Hope to see you there!
