Welcome to a new year as a Division 1 affiliate! For new affiliates, thanks for giving us a try, and for returning ones, we appreciate your continued support of the Division and its mission. I hope to have the opportunity to be in touch with as many affiliates as possible, whether in person or via the e-mail list or Web forum. I always appreciate hearing from you.
The Divisions program at ASHA has a core staff that ably supports us. Without the cheerful problem-solving skills and can-do spirit of our ex officio Kerry Chmielenski, and the able editorial and Web support of Jean White we would really struggle. Many other ASHA staffers provide assistance to our program. The Division itself, however, is staffed by a volunteer Steering Committee elected by you, the affiliates. We keep in touch via e-mail and conference calls, with one face-to-face meeting per year. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them and introduce them to you:
