While the world may be in turmoil, Division 1 is still committed to delivering high quality content and offering opportunities for professional connections. We have a great line-up for New Orleans (see my column from July for details), and we also have an upcoming live Web event on October 13, 2009, from 8-10 p.m. Eastern Time: New Trends in Phonology Assessment and Intervention. Three experts will answer your questions online:
Note: In October, a link to the event will be provided on our Division home page as well as on other ASHA Web pages. The event is open to all ASHA and NSSLHA members; it is not offered for CEUs. If you have not done a web event before, and you have time, I encourage you to check it out. It provides an opportunity to get your questions answered live from experts from around the country. In past events we’ve had questions come in from as far away as Australia. If you haven’t updated your knowledge in phonology in recent years, this is a wonderful chance to find out what the newest research has to offer to help improve clinical services in this important domain.
