Abstract

The increasing demand for pragmatic intervention, paucity of standardized diagnostic tools targeting this domain, and the impressive advances in neuroscientific research over the past decade have made it necessary for us to re-examine the way we conduct assessment and treatment of pragmatic disorders. This article uses a case study format to summarize an intervention framework that views pragmatics as an integrative, neurocognitive-linguistic domain.
