Whether you are a new affiliate of Special Interest Division 1 or an old hand, we are thrilled to have you aboard. Your Division 1 Steering Committee (SC) has an exciting year of activities in the works, and we will be calling for volunteers from our membership to assist with various aspects of these plans.
To begin with, welcome to the first Perspectives issue of 2006! Our Editor, Trish Hargrove, has planned another year with top-notch guest editors and contributors writing on topics of interest to Division 1 affiliates. We know from your responses to our satisfaction survey that most affiliates continue membership in Division 1 because of the high quality of our newsletter. This issue is no exception. We think you’ll agree when you read the set of articles guest edited by Tim Meline on the topic of “Evidence-Based Practice.” Enjoy!
