0.3 ASHA CEUs Intermediate Level, Professional Area
General Information:
ASHA Special Interest Division 1-Language, Learning, and Education and 14-Communication Sciences and Disorders in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Populations’ issue of Perspectives, dated July 2005, is now available as a resource for our members to obtain continuing education credit.
How to Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
  • This ASHA CE activity is only available for registered members of DIV 1 and 14.

  • Please read the six articles and accompanying continuing education (CE) questions found in the July 2005 issue of Perspectives.

  • Complete the Assessment of Learning, Program Evaluation, and ASHA. CEU Participant Form.

  • Mail all 3 forms to Kelly Nett, Division 14 CE Administrator, 508 Ridgewood Avenue #4, Minneapolis, MN 55403 by August 31st, 2005.

    • ∘ Forms must be flat; note that the envelope size will require additional postage.
    • ∘ Please mail your original CEU Participant Form and a photocopy.
    • Folded forms will not be given credit.
  • To receive credit you must score at least 80% on Assessment of Learning. If you do not reach the 80% criterion you may retake the test within 30 days.

    • ∘ You may send a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish to have the results of your Assessment of Learning sent to you. All forms will be scored after August 31st, 2005.
  • Individual CE Certificates of Completion will not be sent.

    • ∘ After the deadline, DIV 14 prepares and submits a report to ASHA concerning all participant activity in the issue. Participants must contact ASHA direcdy to request an official transcript of their CE participation.
    • ∘ CEUs earned for the July 2005 Issue will appear on transcripts as having been completed on 8/31/05. This information will be recorded as early as October 2005.
