This year, Division 1 was a cosponsor of the ASHA’s Annual Conference for Speech-Language Pathologists in Schools, held July 8–10, 2005 in downtown Indianapolis, IN. Due to that sponsorship, Division 1 affiliates could attend for reduced fees. Further, as part of the Division effort to provide direct support for affiliates attending the conference, the Steering Committee is once again making available the Evidence-Based Practice in Schools Conference Grant!
This year, two grants of $250 each will be awarded to Division 1 affiliates who attend the conference and then submit an action plan to implement an idea or evidence-based practice learned at the conference.
