Division Affiliates, it’s time to talk with a colleague about collaborating on a Division 1 Starfish Mini-Grant. With these awards, Division 1 encourages its members to make a difference for children and youth with language impairments by providing seed money to assist with the funding of a research project to address evidence-based practice. This program also seeks to foster collaboration between academicians and practitioners by funding partnerships of this type. For this funding cycle the Division will award a total of $3,000 with an average award of $1,500. Written proposals in the described format should be submitted to the attention of Michelle Ferketic at Special Interest Division 1, Starfish MiniGrant Program, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 10801 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852
