Division 1 is working hard to be responsive to the needs of our affiliates. We thank you for your past input and hope that you will continue to share your ideas about how we might be able to support your needs.
There are several benefits to being a Division 1 affiliate and I would like to highlight a few of those benefits here:
  • All affiliates receive 3 issues of Perspectives a year with CEUs available at no extra cost (besides the annual CE Registry fee) for self-study.

  • Affiliates attending ASHA’s national Convention receive 50% off select division-sponsored Short Courses.

  • Opportunities for enhancing clinical practice skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice are offered through pre-Convention workshops at a discounted rate with CEUs.

  • Our exclusive listserv provides numerous opportunities for networking with and making connections with colleagues.

  • There are opportunities to apply for grants to support your research and practice.

  • Information is provided about Specialty Recognition in Child Language.
